Answer

IBM recognizes the fact that open source software plays an important role in building solutions using IBM products. There are many open source software projects that may be used with the product. As an example, this technote provides references to additional documentation on usage of some of the open source software with the product. Note, this is not an exhaustive list of all open source software usable with the product, but rather serves as an illustrative list of popular open source that works with the product.
